The truth is I have no morning routine. Yet.
I have the habits of:
- Scheduling my terrarium light to turn on at 6 am
- Listening to the news in the morning with my Google Home
- Washing my face and moisturizing it
- Brushing my teeth
- Doing up my bed
- Getting my daughter up and ready for school
- Driving to the train station
- Taking the train and reading a book
But I know mornings have so many more potential that I could add more good habits for my health and wellness.
I want to add:
- 15-minute stretch
- 15-minute writing Morning pages
- Eating breakfast
- Drink a cup of warm water and a cup of warm water with honey and some drops of lemon juice
- Taking some vitamins
- Saying I love you to Josh
- It doesn’t seem to hard but I find them hard to start and maintain.
- I haven’t done any morning stretch.
- I haven’t written any morning pages
- I often skipped breakfast and drinks and vitamins
- I don’t say I love you enough to Josh
So one of my goals for this year is to start adding these good habits into my daily morning schedule.
I possibly should:
- Lock away my phone in the evening
- Wake up and write down 200 words for morning pages
- Print off some simple stretching moves and place it in the bathroom so I can stretch while brushing teeth or cleaning face
- Set out clothes to wear for me and Morgan in the prior evening
- Prep food the day before
- Boil water as soon as I go downstairs, have honey and lemon juice mix ready the day before
This is a good plan? 1,2,3 GOOOO 🙂
Wish me luck,
ThaoNB
